Studio Ignition

The paid, staged diagnostic add-on from the Skills marketplace — add it once and your studio unlocks the full runbook plus the skill set that runs it against your data.

Studio Ignition is our flagship diagnostic — a structured, AI-assisted work-up of your whole studio that runs in order: what's true first, what to do about it second. It's the single most thorough thing the AI can do with your data, and it's built on one principle — more human, not less.

Unlike the everyday skills, Ignition isn't a single question. It's a guided engagement that stitches your data together, checks its own work, shows you an honest picture, and only then moves on to where the opportunities are.

It's a separate paid product

Studio Ignition is not part of the base subscription, and it is not one of the always-on free built-in skills. It's a paid add-on you choose from the Skills marketplace.

A short, free introduction is included with every workspace so you can see how the diagnostic feels before you commit. The full staged diagnostic — the part that works up your entire studio — is the paid add-on.

What you get when you buy it

Two things, unlocked together:

  1. The full runbook — the staged methodology itself. The AI walks you through it step by step, in the right order, with a clear stopping point at each stage so nothing runs ahead of what you've confirmed.

  2. The skill set — the staged Ignition skills that execute that runbook against your own connected data, and save every result so future questions are fast and consistent.

You don't have to learn the method. You add Ignition, ask the AI to run it, answer its questions about your studio, and read what comes back.

How it works, in two phases

Ignition is deliberately split in two, and it won't show you a single dollar of upside until you've agreed the foundation is real.

Phase A — Integrity (what's actually true). The diagnostic establishes the honest picture first: how much data it could link, where the gaps are, how your activity has really moved. No projected upside, recoverable revenue, or ROI is shown in Phase A — ever. You sniff-test each finding and sign it off. Phase A closes at a recorded integrity gate — nothing moves on until you've confirmed the picture.

Phase B — Yield (what to do about it). Only once the gate closes does the diagnostic move to opportunities: where revenue is slipping, which relationships hold your members, how your classes and pricing really perform, and where your marketing spend goes. Every suggestion is traced back to your own numbers.

What it covers

The diagnostic works through your studio in stages, each building on the last:

  • Data integrity — confirm the last couple of years are trustworthy.

  • 12-month snapshot — your year, mirrored back with POS accuracy.

  • Yield curve — where members enter, hold, drop, and lock in.

  • Yield & anchor maps — where value slips, and which teachers hold which members.

  • Teacher & slot economics — per-teacher value and a per-slot P&L.

  • Pricing & acquisition — repricing opportunities, and where new members really come from and what they cost.

It's delivered as a suite — you can add the parts that matter most to you, or take the complete bundle and get everything, always kept up to date.

How to get it

Studio Ignition lives in your Skills page — your studio's skills marketplace and builder — inside the operator app at app.kula.digital. Open Skills, find Studio Ignition, and add it to your studio.

Once it's active, the Ignition skills show up in your AI assistant just like the built-in ones. To run it, ask Claude:

"Run the Studio Ignition diagnostic on my studio."

Set aside an unhurried hour for a full run. You can stop after Phase A and come back later — it remembers where it got to.

What you end up with

A clear, honest view of your studio's reality — not a dashboard, but a foundation. After it, questions like "who haven't I seen in a while?", "how do memberships compare to class packs for us?", or "is the new instructor's class finding its people?" all have a solid answer.
